It was well-loved… maybe loved a little too much. Over time, the shine faded, the paint chipped, and the little house by the sea became known, affectionately, as “the ugly dolphin.”
But every dolphin deserves another leap. When we found her, we saw her good bones beneath the wear, her charm beneath the dust. With care, craftsmanship, and a touch of Lowcountry magic, the Ugly Dolphin was reborn—still full of heart, now full of style.
Today, she’s not just a house; she’s a story of second chances and salty air—a warm, luxurious retreat for every age to enjoy.

Ryan and Addie Jane Lynn come from a long line of dedicated hosts who have been welcoming guests for generations. Addie Jane’s family has hosted thousands of visitors in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, creating memories that span decades.
Together, Ryan and Addie Jane have built and managed several charming tiny vacation rentals—but this is their first full-scale vacation home. Their goal is simple: to create a space where guests feel cared for, comfortable, and inspired to return again and again. They’re genuinely excited (and a little prayerful!) as they embark on this next chapter of hospitality.
